About the Author
Simon Johnson is one of the UK’s most respected strategy and corporate governance advisers. He has taken a central role in extremely complex governance reviews of leading sports organisations, such as the English Football Association (FA), the Rugby Football Union (RFU), and World Rugby. Each of these led to significant constitutional changes to these high-profile, multi-stakeholder organisations.
In addition, he has conducted governance reviews in a wide range of political, cultural and philanthropic charities — alongside a number of private companies, primarily in the Sports and Leisure industry.
Simon Johnson is an experienced NED and Chair for a wide range of organisations, including the Rugby Football League, the International Rugby League Ltd, Super League Ltd and is the CEO of the Jewish Leadership Council. He is also Chair of Sports Information Services, a leading supplier of betting services and content to the betting industry, and a Director of Iventis Ltd, a provider of collaborative software for the events industry, and is a Trustee of two charities.
